From behind the camera, to $110,000 dollars raised for Saskatoon City Hospital.

Since 2018, Sikpics has proudly been the video production partner of choice for the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation’s annual event, Swinging with the Stars. This event raises vital funds, while providing incredible entertainment for the community. Video production includes roughly 20 minutes of dancer features that play on the big screen directly prior to each performance, a message from the CEO, and feature on where fundraising dollars will be going.

After years of close partnership, in 2024 the foundation asked if Chris would participate as one of the stars of the show. Chris, his professional dance partner Kennedy Hannay, and the entire Sikpics team took this challenge seriously and raised a total of $110,000 – one of the highest individual totals in the event’s 11-year history.

With no prior dance experience, Chris took on the additional challenge of delivering an unforgettable performance on stage, albeit 11/10 terrified to be shakin’ it in front of 800 people!

The show raised a record $350,000 which has since been used to purchase specialized equipment at the Eye Care Centre at Saskatoon City Hospital. To everyone involved, take a bow!
