Meewasin Prescribed Burn

This Feature Brought the HEAT!

Meewasin Valley Association essentially asked us how we felt about capturing very large flames – we responded with “when do we start?”.

Similar to our adventures in health care, chasing tornados, lacrosse championships, etc – these adrenaline filled environments fire us up (PUN intended). Organized pre-production, engaging interviews, dynamic drone coverage, and b-roll coverage from the ground were crucial for success. Seeing the strategy, safety protocols, and the WHY behind these prescribed burns was really incredible and something that we did our best to articulate in the edits.

The Canadian Prairies Prescribed Fire Exchange (a national organization) was blown away with the videos. The assets are now utilized to recruit, train, and access funding.
