Hearth's journey to Remai Modern is as inspiring as it is mouth watering.

In 2023 we were tasked with telling the compelling story of the partnership between Remai Modern and Hearth Restaurant. 🤤🤤🤤!! This branded doc thrilled audiences at it’s premiere at the Remai Modern Theatre, cementing both Remai Modern and Hearth’s strong values.

Many different perspectives were featured with loads of interviews contributing to this artistic short doc about community, partnerships, local ingredients, and delicious cuisine. Most notably, the founders of Hearth Restaurant Beth and Thayne. Sitting down to interview these two, capture the final days on Melrose, feature the build process, key menu items and partners, be on site for the grand opening, etc, was really special and something we’ll never forget.

From a Mom and Pop neighbourhood restaurant to the top dining destination in Saskatchewan, this longer form feature was one of our favourites to produce as we cheered both Remai Modern and the Hearth team on every step of the way. This feature looks good, sounds good and even TASTES good. So bust out the popcorn (fries) for this one and turn it up!!
