Visual Intrigue + Comedic Payoff

Research really IS great. This includes research for an eyebrow wax! The branding masterminds at Rock & Bloom brought us on to execute on this playful creative that illustrates the hypothetical horrors that happen when proper research isn’t done.

We scouted and decorated our location, brought on the perfect cast, utilized coloured LEDs and haze, partnered with talented makeup artists and an audio engineer (shout out to our boy tBone), used camera trickery, etc to create this 30 second commercial. The opening scene is the perfect contrast (Bad Move), to the clean, professional and welcoming Affinity Credit Union scene (Great Move) which really hammers home the messaging.

This spot is a perfect example of an elevated product through strong collaboration. Deliverables included cinema pre-roll (nothing better than our clients on the big screen just prior to the new Dead Pool movie), as well as YouTube ads. Let’s hope that brow grows back quick!!
